Durch die Initiative von Theaterexperte Professor Denis Calandra (USF), wurde das FTM für dieses Projekt eingeladen.
Fünfeinhalb Wochen Workshop und Erarbeitung der „Hamletmaschine“ in englischer Sprache mit Drama-Students der University of South Florida (USF). 5 Aufführungen – 5 Shows (19.Febr – 31.März 1984).
David Audet under «Comments&Commentaries» in ARTISTS TABLOID TAMPA: „George Froscher and Kurt Bildstein, founders of Free Theatre Munich, developped and directed Heiner Müller’s play HAMLET-MACHINE during five weeks of intense workshops at USF’s Theatre Department. The resulting performances startled Tampa audiences. Unique approaches to staging and audience viewing plus the rich text cosiderably widened the parameters of theatre experience for many viewers.
